DETERGENT A-118AN
A- 118AN is a multi-functional scouring agent based on the combination of organic and
inorganic chemicals. It has strong ability of scouring, dispersing, emulsifying and sequestering, esp. for woven cotton fabric and its blends. It can replace of caustic soda, soda ash, wetting agent,
scouring agent and peroxide stabilizer etc. It is safe, can effectively clean up impurities, after
finishing, the cotton has excellent whiteness and high & even capillary effect. It also can reduce process time, chemical consumption and energy costs in compliance with sustainable development.
Characteristics and advantage
◎ Can efficiently remove sizes, wax, pectin and other impurities from cotton fabric.
◎ Replaces caustic soda, stabilizer and wetting agent.
◎ Give fabric excellent whiteness and capillary effect.
◎ It is gentler to the fiber than caustic soda and has very little effect on loss of fiber strength.
◎ Suitable in process on jigger, pad-steaming, and cold-pad- batch.
Basic property
Appearance: white to light yellow powder
Ionicity: anionic, nonionic
pH value: 11 ~ 12 (1% aqueous solution)
Solubility: can be easily dissolved in warm water.
Application field
It is recommended to use for the pretreatment of cotton knitted and woven.
Recommended dosage
Scouring & Bleaching of cotton in pad-steam process:
A- 118AN 10~30g/L
Hydrogen peroxide (27.5%) 20~40ml/L
Fe 3+ chelating and dispersing agent 726 0.5~1g/L
Padding (pick up 100-110%), streaming at100±2℃ for 60-90 min
Rinse with hot water
Scouring & Bleaching of cotton in cold-pad-batch process:
A- 118AN 20~40 g/L
Hydrogen peroxide(27.5%) 20~40ml/L
Fe 3+ chelating and dispersing agent 726 1g/L
Padding (pick up 100-110%), storing at room temperature for 16~24 hours
Rinse with hot water (95 ℃ , 1~2 min)
