Hydrophilic silicone oil 6971M is an innovative copolymer material, it has completely new molecular structure and more 2~3 times active content than regular ternary copolymer silicone softener, it can provide outstanding hand-feeling, better cost-effective and high stability compared with traditional silicone emulsion.

Imparts knitted & woven fabric with excellent soft and fine smoothness feeling.
Outstanding stability at wide range of pH and temperature (up to 90℃at pH 7) and shearing stability, almost no emulsion breaking and oil spot in regular process.
Proper hydrophilicity.
Suitable for the finishing of cotton knitted, cotton woven and its blends in padding and exhaustion process.

Emulsifying procedure of 6971M:
1. Feed emulsifiers into reactor, stir it while heating it to 40~50 ℃ and keep stirring for 10 minutes.
2. Add 6971M into reactor and stir it for 60 minutes.
3. Add proper soft water (6.5%), and stir it for 20~30 minutes.
4. Pre-mix glacial acetic acid with soft water (7.8%), slowly add the prepared solution into reactor and stir it for 40 minutes.
5. Slowly add the left water, keep stirring for 20 minutes, then filter into the containers.
6. Total dilution time is about 2.5 hours, appearance of emulsified 6971M is yellowish transparent
liquid.
Silicone softener 6971M can be applied in padding and exhaustion, recommended dosage is 5~20 g/l for 43% active content of silicone softener oil 6971M.  Please use soft water for dilutions.
